State of the Art Accounting is always looking for a qualified bookkeeper.
Requirements:
· Minimum three (3) years working in bookkeeping/accounting environment.
· Excellent computer skills and knowledge/proficiency in Excel, Simply Accounting and MYOB
· Applicant must be energetic, enthusiastic, organized, detail oriented & able to work independently. The right individual will be loyal, trustworthy and a self-starter with a confident positive outlook
· Previous experience with:
HST, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Bank reconciliations, Small business start up
- Duties:
- Provide thorough and timely month end financialstatements
- Timely and accurate filing of all government required remittances
- Accounts Receivable and collections
- Bank Deposits
- Accounts payable and direct debit payments
- Cash flow forecasting
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Electronic payroll preparation and submission and group benefit administrator
- Occasional telephone answering and/or greeting of walk in customers
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Confidence in your work is mandatory, as is the ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
